Vintage Turkish Konya Prayer Rug, 2.6x4.1 ft, 80x125 cm, Handwoven Wool Rug

This vintage Turkish Konya prayer rug is a handwoven wool piece, approximately 60 years old, featuring a striking mihrab design in deep navy blue and rich red tones. Its compact size and bold Anatolian character make it a beautiful choice for collectors, home decor lovers, or anyone looking for an authentic small accent rug.

The rug displays a traditional prayer rug (seccade) layout with a stepped mihrab niche, geometric floral motifs, and stylized symbolic elements arranged across the field. The strong contrast between the dark navy background and the warm red motifs gives the piece a dramatic and elegant presence. Its borders, framed with ivory, red, and navy details, enhance the classic Konya village aesthetic.

The color palette includes navy blue, deep red, ivory, and soft pinkish-red accents. Measuring 80x125 cm / 2.6x4.1 ft, this rug is ideal as a small area rug, bedside rug, entry rug, prayer rug, wall hanging, or decorative accent piece.

As a vintage handmade rug, it may show natural signs of age such as gentle wear, slight fading, irregularities, and handmade character. These are part of its authenticity and make each rug one of a kind. The rug will be carefully washed and ironed before shipping.
