Vintage Konya Prayer Rug, 3.8x6.6 ft, 115x200 cm, Handwoven Turkish Wool Rug

This vintage Turkish Konya prayer rug is a handwoven wool piece, approximately 60–70 years old, featuring a warm Central Anatolian prayer composition with traditional village weaving character. The rug reflects the symbolic and decorative style of Konya rugs through its mihrab form, floral motifs, and rich handmade texture.

The rug features a red central prayer field with a stepped mihrab design, soft yellow section, and three decorative floral medallion motifs arranged along the center. The borders are filled with repeating geometric floral forms in gray, ivory, red, brown, mustard yellow, and earthy tones, giving the piece a balanced and authentic Anatolian appearance.

The color palette includes red, burgundy, mustard yellow, gray, ivory, beige, brown, black, and muted earthy tones. Measuring 115x200 cm / 3.8x6.6 ft, this rug works beautifully as an entryway rug, bedside rug, bedroom rug, reading corner rug, wall hanging, or decorative prayer-style textile.

As a vintage handmade rug, it may show natural signs of age such as gentle wear, fading, slight irregularities, color variation, fringe wear, and handmade imperfections. These details are part of its authenticity and make each piece one of a kind. The rug will be carefully washed and ironed before shipping.
