Vintage Konya Derbent Cat Print Rug, 3.6x6.1 ft, 110x185 cm, Handwoven Turkish Wool Rug

This vintage Konya Derbent rug is a handwoven wool piece, approximately 90 years old, featuring a charming Anatolian cat print design. In this style, “cat print” refers to the small repeated folk motifs across the field, which resemble stylized cat paw or footprint-like shapes rather than realistic animal figures.

The rug features a warm red and coral central field filled with dense repeating motifs in ivory, black, gray, and muted yellow tones. The border is decorated with bold triangular geometric patterns, giving the piece a strong village rug character and a distinctive handmade appearance.

The color palette includes coral red, brick red, ivory, black, gray, beige, muted yellow, and earthy tones. Measuring 110x185 cm / 3.6x6.1 ft, this rug works beautifully as an entryway rug, bedroom rug, bedside rug, accent rug, wall hanging, or decorative collector’s textile.

As a vintage handmade rug, it may show natural signs of age such as gentle wear, fading, slight irregularities, color variation, fringe wear, and handmade imperfections. These details are part of its authenticity and make each piece one of a kind.
