Vintage Konya Taşpınar Vageri Sample Carpet, 3.5x3.9 ft, 107x120 cm, 70 Years Old Handwoven Wool Rug

This vintage Konya Taşpınar vageri sample carpet is a rare handwoven wool piece, approximately 70 years old. The design features a partial prayer-rug style composition with a bold stepped mihrab form, floral motifs, geometric borders, and strong Anatolian colors.

The color palette includes deep red, navy blue, ivory, beige, green, brown, black, and soft mustard tones. The piece has a highly decorative character, showing the traditional visual language of Konya Taşpınar weaving through its sharp geometric structure and rich symbolic motifs.

Measuring 107x120 cm / 3.5x3.9 ft, this piece is ideal as a small decorative rug, wall hanging, textile art, collector’s piece, studio accent, or layered vintage textile. Because it is a vageri / sample carpet, it has a distinctive composition and collectible character rather than the layout of a standard full-size rug.

As a vintage handmade textile, it may show natural signs of age such as gentle wear, fading, slight irregularities, fringe wear, color variation, and handmade imperfections. These details are part of its authenticity and make the piece one of a kind.
